Welcome to UIT LMS. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not access or use our platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and UIT LMS regarding your use of the services.

To access certain features of the platform, including purchasing and taking courses, or publishing courses as an instructor, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose or any purpose prohibited under these Terms. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to: violating any applicable local, state, national, or international law; copying, distributing, or disclosing any part of the service in any medium; attempting to interfere with the proper working of the platform; and uploading or sharing content that is offensive, harmful, or infringes on others' intellectual property rights.

All content available on UIT LMS, including text, graphics, logos, images, course videos, lectures, quizzes, and software, is the property of UIT LMS or its content creators (instructors) and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the course materials for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

Course pricing is set in local currencies, including Nigerian Naira (₦). By enrolling in a paid course, you agree to pay all specified fees. Instructors agree that payments are subject to a platform transaction fee, currently set at 15%. All sales and payout clearances are subject to verification and fraud prevention controls.

We offer a 14-day refund policy for students who are unsatisfied with a course purchase. To be eligible for a refund, you must submit a request within 14 days of purchase and have consumed less than 20% of the course content. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method. Instructors acknowledge that student refunds will be deducted from their earnings balance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UIT LMS and its affiliates, directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your access or use of the platform.

These Terms of Service and any dispute arising out of your use of the platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Abuja, Nigeria.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our platform after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
